Gérald commencé à peindre très jeune. Tout en travaillant, il a étudié avec feu Harold Boyes, puis a participé à des ateliers avec des artistes américains de renom. Gérald peignait principalement à l'huile, mais il s'essayait aussi à l'aquarelle. Il peignait en plein air toute l'année et se rendait à Charlevoix au début du printemps. Gérald a exposé ses œuvres lors d'expositions individuelles, avec jury et collectives. Ses œuvres sont exposées partout au Canada, aux États-Unis et en Europe.

Il a été membre fondateur de l'AAD et ancien président, et aussi un ancien président du Club des Arts de Montréal.

Gérald est décédé en 2024.

Gérald began his painting at a very young age. While still working, he studied with the late Harold Boyes and then participated in workshops with renowned American artists. Gérald painted primarily in oils, but he also dabbled in watercolor. He painted en plein air year-round and traveled to Charlevoix in early spring. Gérald has exhibited his work in solo, juried, and group exhibitions. His work is exhibited throughout Canada, the United States, and Europe.

He was a founding member of the AAD and past president, as well as chairman of the Arts Club of Montréal.

Gérald passed away in 2024.
